Only return to campus after local authorities have declared it safe to do so.
Operations Team
- Notify staff when it is safe to return to their campuses.
- Coordinate initial damage assessments and recovery efforts.
- Establish the primary recovery operations location if needed.
Campus Hurricane Response Teams
- Conduct a life safety assessment before entering any building.
- Check for hazards, including:
- Downed power lines
- Gas leaks
- Flooding
- Structural damage
- Broken glass and debris
- Photograph and document all damage before beginning cleanup.
- Submit all photos and damage reports to the Director of Operations immediately.
Campus Pastors & Leadership
Member Care
- Initiate member wellness checks through email, text, and phone calls.
- Follow up with members who do not respond.
- Identify immediate needs such as power outages, property damage, medical concerns, or displacement.
- Coordinate assistance through the Missions Team for members requiring support.
Recovery Operations
Church-wide recovery operations will be coordinated from the first available campus in the following order:
- Crosspoint Central / Community Life Center
- Bluewater Bay Campus
- North Crestview Campus
- South Crestview Campus
- Pace Campus
- Freeport Campus
- Alternate location as designated by the Executive Pastor of Operations
Priority: Protect people first, assess facilities second, and begin ministry to our congregation and community as quickly and safely as possible.
