Social Media Accounts

Social media is a powerful tool for ministry and communication. To ensure alignment, consistency, and proper oversight, all ministry-related accounts must follow an approved process.

Approval Required Before Creation

Do not create any social media account for a ministry without prior approval from:

  • Your Campus Pastor, or
  • The Executive Minister of Ministries

This step ensures the account supports the broader mission and communication strategy of Crosspoint.

No Independent or Personal Ministry Accounts

Ministry accounts should never be created or operated as personal accounts. All accounts representing Crosspoint ministries must:

  • Be established as official Crosspoint ministry accounts
  • Use appropriate branding and naming conventions
  • Be accessible beyond a single individual

Central Oversight and Management

All ministry social media accounts must be:

  • Connected to Crosspoint’s systems and platforms
  • Registered with and visible to the Crosspoint Marketing Team
  • Managed in a way that allows continuity, accountability, and support

The Communications Team provides guidance, ensures brand consistency, and helps protect the integrity of our communication.

Why This Matters Proper oversight ensures:

  • Consistent messaging across all campuses and ministries
  • Protection of the Crosspoint brand and reputation
  • Continuity if staff or volunteers transition out of roles
  • Strategic alignment with church-wide communication efforts

If you are considering launching or updating a ministry social media presence, start with your Campus Pastor or the Executive Minister of Ministries.
