Personal Use of Crosspoint Email

Crosspoint email accounts are provided for ministry and organizational business only. Employees are strongly advised to maintain a separate personal email account for all personal matters, including financial accounts, subscriptions, and private communications.

Over time, email accounts accumulate a significant volume of history tied to both daily operations and institutional records. When personal business is conducted through a Crosspoint account, it creates unnecessary complexity and risk—particularly during employee transitions. In the event of separation, it becomes difficult to efficiently and appropriately disentangle personal communications from organizational records, which can delay access transitions, create compliance concerns, and impact continuity of operations.

For clarity, security, and operational integrity:

  • Do not use your Crosspoint email for personal business or personal accounts.
  • Maintain a separate personal email for all non-work-related activity.
  • If needed, you may connect your personal email to Outlook for convenience, but all personal communication should remain within that account—not your Crosspoint address.

This approach protects both the individual and the organization, ensuring clean transitions, proper data stewardship, and long-term operational efficiency.
