Contracts, Leases, and Agreements
All contracts, leases, event agreements, or any other legal documents must be submitted to the Director of Operations for review prior to approval.
Signatures
- Only authorized representatives designated by Crosspoint Church may sign agreements (Director of Operations). Staff or volunteers should never sign contracts personally on behalf of the church.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Event agreements (ministry events, picnics, dinners, offsite venue rentals, etc.)
- Offsite meetings
- Leases of any kind (including storage units and facilities)
- Any agreement that obligates Crosspoint Church to pay money
- Camps (of any duration)
- Dumpster and similar service contracts
- Service agreements of any kind
- Maintenance agreements for equipment
- Equipment rentals
Submission Requirements
Contact the Director of Operations with the following:
- A copy of all related documents or agreements
- Details of the event or service
- Total cost or financial obligation
- Any special requirements from the vendor or venue
- Insurance requirements (if not clearly outlined in the agreement)
- Any additional relevant information
- Submit agreements at least 7–10 business days in advance whenever possible.
Important Notes
- Review timelines vary based on the complexity and length of the agreement.
- Some documents may take several days to review.
- Plan ahead—do not wait until the day of the event or deadline to submit for review.
- Do not make verbal agreements or commitments with vendors, venues, or service providers.
- All agreements must be documented and approved through Operations.
- Agreements with auto-renewal clauses or long-term commitments require special attention and approval.
- Ensure termination terms are clearly understood before submission.
- Any changes to an approved agreement must be resubmitted to the Director of Operations for review.
