Finance Team – Role and Responsibility
The Finance Team is responsible for the financial stewardship of Crosspoint Church. This includes overseeing all financial activity to ensure integrity, accountability, and alignment with the mission of the church.
Core Responsibilities
- Development and management of the annual budget
- Oversight of all income, including tithes, offerings, and other contributions
- Monitoring and management of expenses across all campuses and departments
- Cash flow management to ensure operational stability
- Oversight of investments and long-term financial sustainability
- Financial reporting and transparency to leadership
- Oversight of all financial activity across Crosspoint operations, including:
- Campuses
- Academies
- Crosspoint Counseling Center
- Any ministry or operational area that generates revenue
The Finance Team ensures that all financial resources are handled with excellence, accuracy, and a high level of accountability across the entire organization.
Authority and Accountability
- May request documentation at any time to support financial accuracy and reporting
- Authorized to review and investigate financial activity as needed
- Ensures proper internal controls and compliance with established policies
- Holds ministries and departments accountable for financial stewardship
Key Functions
- Tracks and reports financial performance against budget
- Ensures proper internal controls and financial processes are followed
- Provides financial insight to support decision-making
- Works closely with campus and ministry leaders to align spending with priorities

Every dollar given to Crosspoint Church is intended for ministry. The Finance Team exists to steward those resources wisely, ensuring they are used effectively, protected with integrity, and aligned with the mission of Crosspoint Church.
