Crosspoint Academies Board – Role and Responsibility

The Crosspoint Academies Board provides oversight and governance for Crosspoint’s academies (preschools). This board ensures that each academy operates with excellence, safety, and alignment to both educational standards and the mission of Crosspoint Church.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all academy (preschool) operations
  • Supervision of academy leadership and staff
  • Governance of policies, procedures, and day-to-day operations specific to the academies
  • Ensuring compliance with all state licensing, safety, and educational requirements
  • Providing strategic direction for growth, quality, and sustainability of the academies 

Scope of Authority

  • Responsible for operational and staffing decisions within the academies
  • Oversees financial performance in partnership with the Finance Team
  • Ensures safe, structured, and effective environments for children, families, and staff 

Alignment with Crosspoint

  • Operates within the broader structure of Crosspoint Church
  • Partners with central teams to ensure consistency and accountability:
  • Personnel Team for HR alignment and support
  • Finance Team for financial oversight and reporting
  • Directional Leadership Team (DLT) for strategic alignment when needed 

Accountability Structure

  • Reports to the Administrative Board
  • Works in coordination with Crosspoint leadership to ensure unity across all ministries and operations

The Crosspoint Academies Board exists to provide safe, high-quality early childhood education environments while maintaining strong alignment with the mission, values, and operational standards of Crosspoint Church.
