Trustees – Role and Responsibility
Trustees serve as the governing body with ultimate oversight responsibility for Crosspoint Church’s physical and operational integrity. Their primary focus is ensuring that all campuses are safe, secure, and properly maintained for the congregation and community.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversight of all buildings and physical property
- Stewardship of facilities-related risk and safety standards
- Management and review of general liability insurance coverage
- Ensuring campuses operate in a safe and compliant manner
Trustees function at a high level, providing accountability and guidance around the church’s physical assets and risk exposure.
Key Clarifications
- Trustees do not oversee Human Resources
- Trustees do not manage finances or budgeting
Their role is centered on protection, stewardship, and operational safety—not day-to-day administration or financial management.
