Administrative Board – Role and Responsibility
The Administrative Board is the highest authority within Crosspoint Church. All teams and leadership structures ultimately report to the Administrative Board, which provides final oversight and approval for the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Serves as the final authority on major decisions affecting Crosspoint Church
- Provides oversight across all ministries, campuses, and operations
- Reviews and approves recommendations brought forward by leadership teams and committees
- Ensures the church remains aligned with its mission, governance, and long-term sustainability
Decision-Making Process
- The Administrative Board primarily operates at a high-level governance perspective
- Items brought before the board are expected to be:
- Fully developed
- Properly reviewed
- Thoroughly vetted
Because of this structure, the board does not typically engage in deep operational discussion. Instead, it relies on the diligence and expertise of the teams that have reviewed the matter in advance.
Supporting Teams and Committees
The Administrative Board depends on the following groups to evaluate, refine, and prepare decisions before they are presented:
- Trustees
- Finance Team
- Personnel Team
- Directional Leadership Team (DLT)
- Executive Leadership Teams (ELTs)
- Crosspoint Counseling Center Board
- Academies Board
These teams are responsible for ensuring that all recommendations are sound, aligned, and ready for final consideration.
Accountability Structure
- All teams within Crosspoint Church ultimately report to the Administrative Board
- The board provides final approval after appropriate review processes have been completed
Guiding Principle
The Administrative Board governs through trust and accountability—relying on strong leadership and thorough processes across all teams to bring forward well-vetted decisions that support the health, mission, and future of Crosspoint Church.
