Executive Leadership Team (ELT) – Role and Responsibility

The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) operates at the campus level, providing leadership, support, and accountability for the day-to-day operations and ministry execution of each campus.

Each Campus Pastor is supported by an ELT, which works together to ensure the campus is functioning effectively and aligned with the overall mission of Crosspoint Church.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supports the Campus Pastor in leading the campus
  • Oversees day-to-day campus operations and ministry execution
  • Ensures alignment with Crosspoint’s mission, values, and standards
  • Manages campus-level planning, communication, and coordination
  • Provides accountability and leadership across campus teams

Authority and Decision-Making

  • Responsible for decisions at the campus level within established guidelines
  • May not make significant or large-scale decisions without input and alignment from the Directional Leadership Team (DLT)

Relationship with Directional Leadership Team (DLT)

  • The ELT operates in partnership with the DLT to ensure alignment across all campuses
  • The DLT provides direction and organizational leadership, while ELTs execute at the campus level

Boundaries of Authority

  • The DLT does not impose directives on ELTs outside of key areas unless collaboratively aligned
  • Exceptions where the DLT may require immediate action include:
  • Safety concerns or violations
  • Unsafe ministry practices
  • Financial concerns or risks

This structure ensures both local campus ownership and organizational alignment, allowing campuses to lead effectively while maintaining consistency and accountability across Crosspoint Church.

Guiding Principle

The ELT exists to lead each campus with excellence, ownership, and alignment—empowering local ministry while staying connected to the broader vision and direction of Crosspoint Church.
