Financial Reporting Expectations
To ensure financial transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making across Crosspoint Church, monthly financial reporting provides leadership with a clear and accurate view of financial performance.
Monthly Reports
Operations Team will prepare and distribute monthly financial reports that include, but are not limited to:
- Income Statement (Profit & Loss)
- Summary of revenue and expenses compared to budget and prior periods.
- Budget vs. Actual Report
- Detailed comparison of actual spending against approved budgets.
- Balance Sheet
- Overview of assets, liabilities, and overall financial position.
- Campus/Department Reports
- Individualized reports for each campus or department reflecting their specific financial activity.
Reporting Timeline
- Reports are generated monthly following the close of each accounting period.
- Standard distribution is within the first 10 business days of the following month.
- Timely submission of expenses, reimbursements, and coding by all departments is critical to ensure accurate reporting.
Recipients
Monthly financial reports are distributed to the following individuals:
- Directional Leadership Team
- Campus Pastors
- Department Leaders / Ministry Leaders
- Director of Operations
- Finance Team
Additional recipients may be included as needed based on oversight responsibilities.
Expectations of Recipients
- Review reports promptly upon receipt.
- Monitor budget performance and identify any variances.
- Follow up on discrepancies or questions with the Business Office.
- Ensure financial stewardship within assigned campus or department.

- Accuracy of reporting is dependent on timely and proper submission of all financial activity.
- Delays in submissions may result in incomplete or misstated reports.
- Questions or clarifications should be directed to the Business Office or Accounting team.
